Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their visit
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, adhering to quality standards
- Operate the POS system efficiently for retail sales transactions
- Process cash and card payments accurately while handling cash with care and precision
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, equipment cleaning, and sanitation practices
- Assist with food preparation tasks to support beverage service and ensure food safety standards are met
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and maintain a smooth workflow
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours and ensure timely service
