We are seeking an experienced construction professional who can lead residential accessibility remodeling projects and install a wide range of accessibility equipment.

Position Overview
We're looking for a highly skilled construction professional with extensive residential remodeling experience, particularly in accessible bathroom renovations and aging-in-place modifications.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with:
- Bathroom remodeling
- Plumbing fixture installation
- Basic residential electrical work
- Tile installation and waterproofing
- Finish and rough carpentry
- Door widening and framing modifications
- Drywall repair and finishing
- Flooring installation
- Cabinet modifications
- Tub cuts
- Curbless showers
- General residential remodeling
Experience installing accessibility products is a plus but can be taught. Strong construction knowledge and craftsmanship are the priorities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead residential accessibility remodeling projects from start to finish.
- Perform ADA-inspired bathroom modifications including walk-in showers, tub-to-shower conversions, grab bars, handheld showers, comfort-height toilets, accessible vanities, and related improvements.
- Complete door widening and framing modifications.
- Perform finish carpentry, trim work, blocking, drywall repair, painting, flooring, and tile installation.
- Complete basic plumbing and electrical work associated with accessibility renovations.
- Install stairlifts, wheelchair ramps, vertical platform lifts, grab bars, railings, transfer aids, and other accessibility equipment.
- Read plans, measurements, and specifications accurately.
- Evaluate field conditions and recommend practical installation solutions and budget.
- Maintain exceptional workmanship and attention to detail.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, healthcare professionals, and office staff.
- Manage daily job materials, inventory, and company vehicle.
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory control.
- Mentor and train junior installers as the company continues to grow.
- Represent Amramp professionally at every customer interaction.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years of residential construction or remodeling experience
- Extensive bathroom remodeling experience
- Strong carpentry skills
- Experience with plumbing fixture installation
- Experience with residential electrical work
- Tile installation experience
- Door widening and framing experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Leadership experience or the desire to lead crews
- Excellent organizational skills
- Pride in producing high-quality work
- Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
Preferred Experience
Experience with any of the following is highly desirable:
- Aging-in-place renovations
- ADA accessibility modifications
- Wheelchair ramps
- Stairlifts
- Vertical platform lifts
- Grab bar installation
- Residential elevators
- Medical equipment installation
- Occupational therapy or healthcare-related construction projects
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Climb ladders, kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces
- Safely operate power tools and construction equipment
- Travel throughout New Jersey and parts of New York using a company vehicle
