Role responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention for students in need
- Develop and implement individualized plans to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to ensure cohesive support for each student
- Serve as a liaison between school, families, and outside agencies, connecting families with community resources
- Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of services provided
- Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams as required
- Actively participate in professional development to remain current on best practices
