Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated, experienced, and results-driven Roofing Sales Manager to lead our roofing sales team and help grow the company. The Sales Manager will recruit, train, manage, and motivate sales representatives while generating new business and helping close roofing projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, roofing industry knowledge, and a proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
Team Building & Customer Service Responsibilities
- Build, recruit, and develop a strong roofing sales team.
- Recruit qualified sales representatives and help create a motivated, professional sales organization.
- Train new and existing sales representatives on roofing sales, customer communication, inspections, contracts, and company procedures.
- Set expectations and hold the sales team accountable for performance and professionalism.
- Manage the sales team's daily activities and performance.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to help sales representatives succeed.
- Handle customer service issues and resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Act as a point of contact for customers when problems or concerns need management attention.
- Maintain strong relationships with homeowners throughout the entire sales and roofing process.
- Ensure customers receive timely updates on inspections, contracts, insurance claims, scheduling, and project progress.
- Step in when a salesperson has difficulty communicating with or satisfying a customer.
- Work closely with the office and production teams to resolve customer concerns and prevent delays.
- Protect the company's reputation by ensuring every customer is treated professionally and respectfully.
- Follow up with customers after the sale and after project completion to ensure satisfaction.
- Identify recurring customer-service problems and implement solutions to improve the customer experience.
- Lead by example through professionalism, honesty, accountability, punctuality, and strong communication.
Primary Goal
The Roofing Sales Manager will build and manage a successful sales team while ensuring customers receive excellent service from first contact through completion of the roofing project.
