Join our vibrant retail team as a Retail Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive sales and enhance the shopping experience. In this role, you will assist customers in selecting the perfect products, provide advice on products that we carry, and help them make their selection. Your passion & knowledge will help our customers. This paid position offers a dynamic balance for introverts/extroverts.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist customers with knowledge & advice.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for cashiering and cash handling transactions
- Check ID's to verify age, per state law.
- Maintain organized stock levels through stocking, merchandising, and inventory management while on shift.
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in garden centers or outdoor retail environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions is a plus but not mandatory.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong organizational skills for stocking shelves, managing inventory, and maintaining store presentation
- Excellent communication skills are a PLUS! Communication is a big KEY in this business.
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
