Beck/Allen Cabinetry is a kitchen and bath showroom catering primarily to the home building, interior design and architecture industries.
We are seeking a dynamic individual who will contribute to our success as a Full-Time Design Assistant. This person will be responsible for supporting a kitchen and bath designer and should thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centered environment.
Candidate must be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, and be proficient in 2020 Design Live. The Design Assistant will collaborate with a lead designer on preliminary and final proposals, construction drawings/specifications, and plans, as well as the placement of orders.
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- 2+ years of kitchen and bath cabinet design experience required
- Must be proficient in 2020
- Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Outlook, Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist lead designer from initial concept through cabinet installation
- Produce and revise proposals as well as preliminary and final drawings
- Price cabinetry based on preliminary and final drawings
- Finalize pricing and order placement
- Track order status and confirm orders as necessary
