American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Stepdown unit position requiring at least 1 year of experience, with night shift availability and weekend commitment.

Stepdown unit in a hospital setting

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)

Weekend availability required
-
Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum 1 year of Stepdown or Step-down equivalent nursing experience required

Epic charting experience preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

Travel pairs or groups will not be considered

No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved for the duration of the contract, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
