The Landscape Maintenance position would be responsible for ensuring all maintenance of current landscaping and irrigation at our Home at Maricopa property.
Location: 17635 N Porter Rd, Maricopa City, AZ 85138
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Community Manager for maintenance of landscaping and irrigation systems.
- Perform landscaping duties as needed, including planting, mowing, maintaining turf, weed control, irrigation maintenance, and timer adjustments.
- Program and adjust irrigation controllers as needed throughout the year to maintain water-wise, sustainable practices.
- Help pick up and inspect the grounds each morning to ensure the community is clean and presentable.
- Clean and maintain trash receptacles, pet waste stations, and assist with dumpster changeovers as needed.
- Pick up pet waste and debris from pet parks and grassy common areas.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the pool area, including straightening pool furniture and ensuring the area remains tidy.
- Clean community grills as needed.
- Ability to work professionally around tenants and residents.
- Responsible for ensuring the daily maintenance and proper operation of equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial Landscape
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
- Establish and maintain positive, effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of work
- Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments; commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.; completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
