Swim Instructor
URBN Playground Swim Instructors will work in a variety of our luxury real estate rental or condominium buildings, and will help clients, both children and adults, improve their swimming techniques and abilities.
**MUST BE WILLING TO WORK LIFEGUARD SHIFTS AS NEEDED AS WELL**
What You Will Do

Teach swimming techniques and strokes to students of different ages and abilities

Create a curriculum that accounts for abilities and positive development

Educate swimmers regarding water safety rules
-
Regularly assess performance and provide constructive and supportive feedback

Interact with parents and guardians as needed

Monitor students’ safety to prevent accidents and injuries, and implement necessary ground rules
You’re Good At

Strong knowledge of swimming techniques

Interacting with children and adults

Creative problem solving skills

Excellent communication skills

Strong swimming abilities
What You Need
-
Water Safety Instructor Certification
-
CPR/First Aid Certification
-
At least 6 months of experience teaching experience
