Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our hotel environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial services, to ensure consistent quality standards are met.
- Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff, providing training, support, and performance feedback to foster a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and safety protocols aligned with industry best practices and safety regulations.
- Oversee industrial cleaning projects and commercial cleaning operations to maintain high standards of hygiene in all areas.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens, ensuring cost-effective usage while maintaining quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and facilities to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with management to plan staffing needs, handle guest requests or complaints promptly, and improve overall housekeeping processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality or hotel industry with a strong background in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams in fast-paced environments requiring team supervision and leadership skills.
- Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning and commercial cleaning methods.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and workplace safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in laundry operations and managing custodial services is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead staff and coordinate with other departments for seamless service delivery.
