Part-Time – $20/hr
Location: The Candy Factory | Lancaster, PA
Status: Part-Time (6.5 + hrs/week depending on event schedule)
Schedule: Friday evenings (4:30 PM – 11:00 PM with a 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM break) + occasional evening private/member events with ample advance notice
Reports To: Community Operations Manager – Francis Claudio
Are you a people person who loves bringing community to life? Do you enjoy creating welcoming experiences and connecting others? The Candy Factory is looking for a Clubhouse Host to run our members-only social lounge on the sixth floor. You'll host our weekly Friday evening sessions, handle the occasional evening private booking, and ensure the space feels vibrant and welcoming.
The Space
The Sixth Floor Clubhouse is a member + guest lounge, a comfortable spot to meet new people, connect with other members, play games, or decompress. Think: adult hangout space with good vibes.
Schedule & Hours
- Fridays (Required): 4:30 PM shift start (includes setup and wrap-up) with a break from 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM. Shift ends at 11:00 PM.
- Occasional Evenings Hours Availble: On-site hosting for private bookings as scheduled. Note: We aim to provide ample notice for all private bookings.
What You'll Do
- Set up the space before opening (lighting, music, ambiance, food table setup, and preparing mocktails)
- Welcome members and guests, make introductions, and foster connections
- Keep the lounge organized, stocked, and running smoothly
- Host and support member activities (game nights, social mixers, etc.)
- Facilitate on-site execution for occasional evening private events (welcoming guests, prepping space, ensuring smooth operations)
What We're Looking For
- Outgoing, enthusiastic, and community-driven
- Confident hosting and welcoming groups
- Good at reading social dynamics, knowing when to engage and when to give people space
- Comfortable with light tech setup (music, lights, etc.) We will train!
- Reliable, independent, and adaptable in dynamic social environments
- Previous experience in hospitality, events, or customer service is a plus
- RAMP certification (or willing to obtain)
