We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Front Load Driver to join our team in Douglas, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating front load garbage trucks to collect commercial and residential waste efficiently and safely, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies and local regulations.
- Operate front load garbage trucks to collect commercial and residential waste.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of the vehicle at all times.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to complete collections in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of collections and report any issues or incidents to the supervisor.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns professionally and courteously.
- Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and local regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading when necessary.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Proven experience operating front load garbage trucks or similar heavy vehicles preferred.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
This position involves outdoor work in all weather conditions and requires physical activity such as lifting, climbing, and walking. Safety is a top priority, and all employees must follow company safety guidelines.
