Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve food items following safety standards and quality guidelines, including operating kitchen equipment and handling food safely.
- Process cash and card transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash register operations and retail sales transactions.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions and product knowledge.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by performing sanitation duties, bussing tables, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service throughout their visit.
- Assist with food safety management practices to uphold sanitation standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain cleanliness standards in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and order processing.
- Experience in retail sales transactions, upselling techniques, and food handling procedures is highly desirable.
