Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations using a Dump Trailer or Lowboy. Your role will involve following delivery schedules, and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of materials.
Duties:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by dispatch
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or repair needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or changes to schedules
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role
- Proficiency in manual transmission vehicles
- Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance procedures is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with dispatch, customers, and team members
