Summit Logistics, a contracted service provider, is urgently hiring FedEx Ground Delivery Drivers in Gaithersburg, MD to deliver to residential and business locations within approximately a 60 mile radius.
No CDL required! Drug Test Mandatory!
Pay: $150+ per day |
Reporting time: 8:30 am
Schedule: 5 days a week
Provided: Scanners, Uniform, Hand-carts.
Terminal Location: 800 N Frederick Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20879
✅ Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Commercial Driving Experience (within previous 3 yrs): 1 year
- Driver's license and a clean driving record required
- Ability to lift up to 150 lbs regularly
- DOT physical, drug test and background screening
✅ What a Typical Day Looks Like
This is a physical job and requires that the delivery driver gets in and out of the truck at each stop. Here is how your day will look like:
- Show up to the terminal on time, load/ organize your packages
- Inspect your vehicle before and after every shift
- Deliver 150+ packages, ensuring every stop is completed with care
- Handle all package sizes safely: no damage to goods, vehicle, or yourself
- Punctually complete all scheduled pickup stops without exception
- Scan and log every pickup and drop-off accurately
- Represent the company well at every door you knock on
