Seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist with strong Workday Payroll expertise to support accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for U.S. and Canadian employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile payroll across multiple pay frequencies, ensuring accurate gross-to-net calculations, taxes, deductions, garnishments, and special payments.
- Administer payroll activities within Workday, including troubleshooting, testing, system validation, and process improvements.
- Research and resolve complex payroll discrepancies and customer inquiries, providing root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Reconcile data from timekeeping, HR systems, third-party interfaces, and manual inputs.
- Process off-cycle payments, reversals, adjustments, voids, stop payments, bonuses, merit increases, and other special payroll transactions.
Qualifications
- Strong Workday HCM and Payroll experience; implementation and configuration experience highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of U.S. payroll concepts, taxes, deductions, garnishments, and compliance
