Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly through sanding, scraping, caulking, plastering, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply primers, paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns—including airless paint spraying—for a smooth finish.
- Use construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and timeframes for residential painting jobs.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols, including respiratory protection measures.
- Perform surface repairs such as patching holes or cracks and restoring surfaces during renovation or restoration projects.
- Utilize ladder use safely for high or hard-to-reach areas; demonstrate proficiency with scaffolding when necessary.
- Execute specialty coatings for industrial or commercial painting projects when required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality standards are met while maintaining a clean and organized work site. Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential painting with knowledge of construction site procedures and safety protocols.
- Skilled in surface preparation techniques including construction painting surface preparation and concrete finishing.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including conventional spraying), and airless paint spraying equipment.
- Understand English
- Knowledge of coating types such as stucco, plastering materials, caulking compounds, and masonry finishes.
- Experience with remodeling, renovation projects, fixture installation, drywall finishing (including drywall taping), and general handyman tasks is a plus.
- Few years experience painting interiors and exteriors.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive attitude towards safety regulations compliance—especially regarding respiratory protection—and teamwork.

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
