Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule:Part - Time Tuesday - Friday from 9 am - 3:30 pm

In this hands-on role, you’ll coach clients on essential life skills—like time management, hygiene, budgeting, and organization—while helping them build the confidence to reach their personal and professional goals.

Optimum Performance Institute is a leading provider of adolescent and young adult's behavioral health services dedicated to enhancing the mental well-being of individuals and communities. Responsibilities:
Support clients in setting, implementing, and evaluating personal goals aligned with treatment plans, focusing on independent living and personal development.
Instruct and assist clients in life skills such as time and money management, hygiene, organization, and social, academic, and professional skills.
Use methods like motivational interviewing, strategic planning, and values clarification to guide clients toward goal achievement.
Collaborate with treatment teams, attend meetings, and provide input or documentation when unable to attend.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation for each session and complete required reports and logs.
Work a flexible schedule to accommodate client needs and availability.
Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with therapists, department heads, and residential staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences, social services, or related field required; graduate-level education preferred.

At least 1 year of experience in coaching, ABA, teaching, clinical, or correctional settings, especially with young adults.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills; able to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team.

Skilled in leadership, motivation, empathy, and team-building; able to connect with high-risk populations in a dynamic environment.

Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical ability, creativity, and resourcefulness.

Valid CA driver’s license with clean driving record; must pass TB test and obtain flu shot.

Proficient with technology and Microsoft Word; willing to maintain CPR/First Aid and any required certifications.
