Our Teller/Financial Service Representative positions provide world class service, while processing transactions and other customer service requests within the branch. Facilitates customer awareness and education of bank capabilities, tools, and resources. Supports the sales efforts of a branch team by identifying and referring sales opportunities to suit the customer’s needs

The essential functions of the position include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:
o Engaging customers in conversation to understand their banking needs and preferences
o Processing transactions accurately and efficiently
o Providing assistance with account servicing needs
o Facilitating customer awareness and education of bank services, including digital banking capabilities
o Introducing customers to other branch team members or bank partners who are able to provide solutions for their financial needs
Manages and coordinates all aspects of the customer’s financial relationship with Citizens Bank, to include account opening, consumer lending and problem resolution.
Assumes responsibility of the day-to-day operations of the branch in Branch Manager’s absence.
Must possess ability to work with others in a team environment and follow work rules and procedures.
Must be able to accept direction and constructive criticism from superiors.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); one to two years related banking experience and/or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and/or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
