Position Overview
The Behavior Interventionist will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and support students in achieving their academic, social, and behavioral goals.
Responsibilities
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA
Provide one-on-one and/or small group behavioral support
Collect and maintain accurate data and documentation
Support students in developing behavioral, social, and functional skills
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors
Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards
Qualifications
Behavior Interventionist (BI):
Bachelor’s degree in a human services field
OR
Bachelor’s degree in a non-human services field with a minimum of 24 upper-division credits in a human services area
Minimum of 1 year of supervised experience working with children with developmental disabilities
Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work onsite for the full school year
