CSC Clean Room Technician (Per Diem / Limited Shift)

Position Summary
The CSC Clean Room Technician supports after-hours operations within the Central Service Center (CSC) by ensuring the sterile compounding environment is properly cleaned, disinfected, and maintained in compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, and organizational standards.
This position is responsible solely for cleanroom cleaning and environmental maintenance, no medication preparation is performed.
This role requires availability for one 10-hour shift per month, scheduled after hours.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and deep cleaningof sterile cleanroom environments, including hoods, isolators, buffer rooms, ante rooms, and all surfaces (floors, walls, ceilings), following required cleaning frequencies and proper sequencing (clean to dirty, top to bottom)

Disinfect andmaintainISO-classified environments using approved agents (e.g., sterile alcohol, sporicidal), ensuring compliance with contamination prevention standards

Adhere to all cleanroom protocols, including proper hand hygiene, garbing, and restricted movement practices tomaintainsterility

Accurately complete cleaning logs and documentation, and promptly report any contamination risks, equipment concerns, or compliance issues
Qualifications
Required

Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration (Idaho)orability to obtain (depending on classification)

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures

Ability to work independently in an after-hours environment

Commitment to safety, compliance, and documentation accuracy
Work Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks

Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods

Ability to work in controlled environments with strict protocols

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid Idaho pharmacy technician License
Preferred Qualifications
