American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with both circulating and scrub experience for a Main OR position supporting multiple surgical specialties.

Main OR setting supporting General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal surgeries
-
Adult to geriatric patient population
-
16 operating rooms with an average daily census of 35
-
Uses Epic, Pyxis, and 2 DaVinci XI Robots
-
Day shift schedule (4x10 hours, 6:30 AM-5:00 PM)

Weekend commitment of 2-3 weekends per 8-week schedule, either in-house or on call
-
Call requirements include 7-8 calls per 8-week schedule, including 1 weekend call, 1-2 weekend call shifts, and 2-3 weekday night call shifts

Call shifts scheduled as either 7 PM-7 AM or 7 AM-7 PM

Rare floating required, within facility and scope of practice

Active RN license (GA or Compact) required

BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of OR experience required

Circulating and scrub experience required

Experience with vascular, neuro, general surgery, orthopedic, robotic, and urology procedures preferred

Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) required for consideration

Perform circulating and scrub duties across a wide range of surgical specialties

Scrubs provided by the facility
-
Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment (up to 2 of 3 major holidays)

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day
-
Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, which must be finalized prior to submission

No RTO permitted during orientation week
