Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious pizzas and have a strong understanding of food safety and preparation. This role is responsible for cooking pizzas, preparing ingredients, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas to order, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Manage food preparation and presentation to meet high culinary standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Handle and store food safely, adhering to food safety and handling best practices.
- Assist with menu planning, including pizza options and specials.
- Work effectively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service.
- Ensure a positive and welcoming dining experience for customers.
- Perform other duties as required by the kitchen team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a pizza cook or in a similar culinary role.
- Knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques.
- Familiarity with menu planning and fine dining standards.
- Experience with food handling and food safety practices.
- Strong knife skills and ability to work with a variety of kitchen tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Certification as a dietary aide or equivalent experience.
