Job Overview
We are seeking a LICENSED REAL ESTATE AGENT dedicated and organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property leasing, facilities management, and customer relationship management. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of property leasing, including tenant screening, lease agreements, and renewals.
- Maintain positive relationships with tenants and address their inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance requirements.
- Oversee maintenance requests and coordinate with vendors for repairs and services.
- Utilize property management software such as Appfolio for data entry and record keeping.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants, including upselling available units.
- Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations governing property management.
- Prepare reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and tenant satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management is required, at least 2 years experience as a Property Manager.
- Strong understanding of contract law as it pertains to leasing agreements.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction.
- Proficient in data entry and office administration tasks.
- Familiarity with facilities management principles and practices.
- Strong phone etiquette for effective communication with tenants and service providers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Appfolio property management software is a plus.
