Community Healthcare Center is seeking a full-time or part-time motivated and passionate physician to join our team.
Objectives of this role:
- Provide superior primary and preventative care for infants, children, and adolescents.
- Create an environment in which patients, including parents/guardians, feel comfortable and supported.
- Treat patients from various backgrounds.
- Treat other staff members with kindness, patience, and professionalism.
- Maintain clinic and patient records that are up-to-date and thorough.
- Have a passion for serving the underserved.
Responsibilities:
- Examine, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients.
- Emphasize early detection of illness and prevention.
- Advise patients and caregivers on wellness best practices.
- Provide supervisory oversight to mid-level providers.
- Prioritize patient health above all else.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Possess (or be eligible to possess) a Texas licensure in good standing
- Possess (or be eligible to possess) a current DEA Controlled Substances Registration
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Ability to communicate in more than one language
