We are searching for an Technician to install, start up, and service sampling systems and instrumentation at customer sites across the power, wastewater, and industrial markets.
Responsibilities:
- Install, start up, retrofit, and repair online sample systems, sample conditioning systems, and instrumentation at customer sites
- Follow established work instructions and safety procedures to deliver high-quality, on-time service
- Read and interpret P&IDs and isometric drawings to determine equipment locations and tie-in points
- Perform mechanical work including:
- Measuring, cutting, bending, and installing process tubing (1/8”–¾”)
- Cutting, threading, and installing process piping up to 3” diameter
- Troubleshoot systems using a strong understanding of fluid flow and mechanical systems
- Complete accurate, on-time service reports for customers
- Use technology tools to manage schedules, communication, and documentation
- Identify opportunities to add value, improve service offerings, and support customer growth
- Travel extensively to support customer needs across assigned territories
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant field experience with sampling equipment or analytical systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude, including piping, tubing, and equipment mounting
- Ability to read technical drawings and work independently in the field
- Basic understanding of industrial wiring and signal connections
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfort working outdoors, on industrial structures, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel and work flexible schedules
- Ownership mindset, initiative, and a strong focus on safety
Pay: $30.22 - $36.39 per hour
