Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and management reporting packages

Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger activity

Analyze financial results and provide meaningful variance analysis and business insights

Partner closely with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning initiatives

Manage, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team

Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain a strong internal control environment

Identify and implement process improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency

Coordinate external audit activities and support regulatory reporting requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support strategic business objectives

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA required
-
5+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience

Insurance industry experience strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls

Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
