Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled safely in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings to keep offerings innovative and appealing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal flavor and presentation
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences in a timely manner
- Follow all food handling procedures, including knife skills for ingredient prep and proper sanitation practices
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling standards
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within the food industry or restaurant settings
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and catering practices preferred
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food safety protocols are essential
- Experience with fine dining or restaurant environments enhances your ability to deliver high-quality dishes under pressure

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
