We are seeking an experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to lead all aspects of logistics, warehousing, transportation, inventory movement, and distribution operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring best-in-class service to both internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong background in supply chain and warehouse operations who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will lead a team, build cross-functional relationships, and continuously improve processes while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and customer service.
What You'll Do Supply Chain & Logistics Leadership
- Develop and execute supply chain and logistics strategies that support company objectives.
- Oversee warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, inventory movement, transportation, and distribution.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight to ensure timely deliveries and efficient inventory flow.
- Optimize inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs and stock shortages.
- Partner with production, planning, purchasing, sales, and customer service to support on-time customer deliveries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
Warehouse & Distribution Operations
- Lead daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Plan and coordinate outbound shipments several days in advance to meet customer expectations.
- Prioritize inbound deliveries and unloading schedules with production and warehouse teams.
- Monitor shipping and receiving inventory levels to maximize operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement distribution strategies that improve service levels and customer satisfaction.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing logistics team.
- Manage hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and employee development.
- Schedule labor effectively while managing productivity and overtime.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a hands-on resource and backup for the logistics team when needed.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and warehouse operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements that reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Utilize technology and supply chain systems to streamline operations and improve visibility.
- Track and report key performance indicators including:
- On-time delivery
- Shipping accuracy
- Freight costs
- Warehouse productivity
- Inventory accuracy
Systems & Compliance
- Ensure accurate ERP and warehouse management system transactions.
- Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company policies.
- Prepare operational reports and communicate performance metrics to leadership.
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or distribution management.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience managing teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SYSPRO, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation, inventory control, and logistics planning.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred
- Master's degree.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
