Lead Teacher – Before & After School Program
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Before School (approximately 6:00–8:00 AM) & After School (approximately 2:00–6:00 PM)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team and help create a positive experience for children, families, and staff.
Position Summary
The Lead Teacher oversees the daily operations of the before and after school program, ensuring a safe, fun, and structured environment for elementary-aged children. This position provides leadership to classroom staff, plans engaging activities, maintains licensing standards, and builds positive relationships with children, families, and school personnel.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging educational, recreational, and enrichment activities.
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Lead and support assistant teachers and classroom staff.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
- Implement positive behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate attendance and program documentation.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and program leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
- Prepare materials and maintain an organized classroom.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and special events as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience working with school-age children in a licensed childcare or educational setting preferred
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass all required background screenings.
