Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Specialist

Monday-Friday
8:00am –4:30 pm with opportunity to work flexible daytime hours remotely upon completing training, may also consider alternative schedule if desirable (e.g. 4/10 work shifts).
Responsibilities:
- Supports accurate, complete, and compliant documentation across all clinical hospital service lines
- seeks to improve documentation quality, severity capture, risk adjustment, quality reporting, reimbursement integrity, and patient outcomes
- works collaboratively with physicians, advance practice providers, nursing leadership, coding professionals, case management, quality, and revenue cycle teams to ensure the medical record accurately reflects the patient’s clinical condition, complexity of care, and services provided.
Qualifications:
- RN, RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC or equivalent certification required
