We are seeking an experienced Service Coordinator / Customer Service Representative to join our growing propane and home heating oil company. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping customers, and understands the daily operations of fuel delivery and service dispatch.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer service while coordinating efficient service schedules.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls with professionalism and a customer-first attitude.
- Schedule heating oil, propane and air conditioning service calls.
- Coordinate and dispatch service technicians.
- Monitor daily delivery routes and make adjustments as needed.
- Communicate with technicians throughout the day regarding schedule changes and emergencies.
- Process customer orders, payments, and account updates.
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
- Work closely with operations, service, and management to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service experience in the propane, heating oil, or HVAC industry preferred.
- Dispatch or delivery coordination experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge routing, and fuel delivery operations is a plus
- Experience with industry software such as Cargas, ADD Systems, Blue Cow, or similar is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong computer and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during peak heating season.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- Occasional overtime during the heating season
