Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and dish execution.
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to safety standards in production.
- Support food service operations by assembling dishes quickly and accurately during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely delivery of orders.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated culinary experience with proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus.
- Skilled in knife handling, slicing techniques, and general food handling safety standards.
- Experience with meal preparation, catering, or food service operations enhances your fit for this role.
- Familiarity with food safety management systems and adherence to safety standards in production environments.
- Strong understanding of kitchen workflows, food industry best practices, and serving procedures.
