Travel Pharmacist Opportunities – California
1. Pharmacist – Lodi, CA
- Specialty: Hospital Pharmacy
- Shift: Night Shift
- Primary Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 8:30 PM – 6:30 AM
- Alternative Schedule: 5×8-hour shifts, approximately 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Experience: Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Required: EPIC experience
- Key Requirement: Must be comfortable working overnight shifts
2. Pharmacist – Mendocino, CA
- Specialty: Hospital Pharmacy
- Shift: Day Shift with overnight on-call
- Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
- Day Hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Overnight On-Call: 6:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- On-Call: Approximately 6–7 consecutive nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Experience: Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience
- Required: Active pharmacy license, BLS, and EPIC experience
- Key Requirement: Must be comfortable with overnight on-call responsibilities

4. Inpatient/Outpatient Pharmacist – Alturas, CA
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 5×8s or 4×10s, varied days, including some weekends
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Pay: Up to $105/hr all-inclusive
- OT: $110/hr after 40 hours
- On-Call: $5/hr pager; 2-hour minimum for callback
- EMR: Cerner
- Experience: Minimum 2 years; inpatient experience within the last 3 years required
- License: Active California Pharmacist license required
- Holiday: Coverage required
- Key Duties: Inpatient medication verification, drug distribution, Omnicell/inventory management, controlled substances, medication reconciliation, pharmacy compliance, and drug information.
Best Fit: Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience is mandatory.
5. Retail Pharmacist – Lake Isabella, CA
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Start Date: August 17, 2026
- Shift: Day Shift
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Pay: Up to $90/hr all-inclusive
- OT: $135/hr after 40 hours
- Holiday: $135/hr
- On-Call: None
- EMR: CPSI/Evident
- Experience: Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience required
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- License: Active California Pharmacist license required
- Key Duties: Retail/outpatient pharmacy, SNF medication regimen reviews, inpatient order verification, clinical interventions, renal dosing, compounding, Pyxis/CPOE, pharmacy support supervision, and medication safety.
Best Fit: PharmD + active California license are mandatory; inpatient, retail, or SNF experience is valuable.
