Job Summary
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Daycare Teacher Aide to support our teaching staff in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is patient, and is eager to assist with daily classroom activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom routines and activities
- Help supervise children to ensure safety at all times
- Support children with meals, snacks, and nap time
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Engage children in play, learning activities, and social development
- Assist with diapering, toileting, and basic hygiene as needed
- Help manage behavior using positive guidance techniques
- Communicate effectively with teachers and staff
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children preferred (daycare, babysitting, etc .)
- Ability to lift, move, and actively engage with children throughout the day
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patient, reliable, and nurturing personality
Requirements
- Must pass background check
- Ability to meet state licensing requirements
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
