We Mirak is seeking energetic and personable Part-time Waitresses to join our vibrant restaurant team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and adhering to food safety regulations
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy service hours with excellent multitasking skills
- Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or hosting/hostess duties is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Hospitality background with a focus on guest relations and sales techniques like upselling
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
