Position Overview
The Dietary Aide supports meal service by assisting with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and tray setup
- Serve meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner
- Deliver trays and assist residents as needed during mealtimes
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment
- Wash dishes, utensils, and food service equipment
- Follow sanitation, food safety, and infection-control guidelines
- Restock supplies and assist with kitchen organization
- Provide friendly, respectful interactions with residents and coworkers
- Support team members to ensure efficient meal service
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Dependable with good time-management skills
- Previous food service experience helpful
