The Outreach Explorer – Part Time reports to the Outreach Manager and delivers engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences through TECH Trucks, outreach vans, camps, and outreach programs for PreK–8 audiences. These entry and mid-level roles demonstrate strong program delivery and audience engagement skills.
Facilitate assigned programs with guidance from the Outreach Manager
Lead or assist programs in TECH Trucks, outreach vans, and camps
Manage participant behavior and ensure safety during programs
Communicate program details with partners and staff
Provide feedback to improve program delivery
Perform other related duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities – No
1+ year of experience in performance, education, or youth programs
Enthusiasm for inquiry-based learning
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Comfort presenting to small, medium, and large groups
Strong organizational and communication skills
Valid driver's license with auto insurance
Successful audition demonstrating consistent engagement and informal education style

Tier Progression
Facilitators advance through tiers I, II, and III based on performance reviews, supervisor recommendations, and successful auditions demonstrating growth in engagement, program mastery, and entertainment quality.
