The Original Pancake House in Woodmere is seeking an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead our team and help deliver exceptional guest experiences every day. We pride ourselves on outstanding food, friendly service, and a positive team culture. Our Woodmere location serves breakfast and lunch daily and has been a local favorite for years.
Restaurant hours are 730am-2pm, Sunday - Saturday
Position Summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining food safety standards, and driving overall restaurant performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff during daily operations
- Ensure excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally
- Hire, train, coach, and develop team members
- Assist in managing labor, scheduling, and staffing levels
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
- Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed properly
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Hold employees accountable to company policies and performance standards
- Assist with administrative duties, including reporting and documentation
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management experience required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to lead by example and motivate a team
- Weekend and holiday availability required
