American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Adult Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of one year of ED experience, trauma experience, and AHA certifications.

Active RN license (OK State Board or eNLC Compact) required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required

Minimum of 1 year of emergency department nursing experience required

Travel and trauma experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, administering medications, initiating and monitoring IV infusions and blood products, assisting physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, and documenting patient responses to interventions

Communicates care plans and discharge instructions with patients and families, and delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period after 26 cumulative weeks before being eligible for a new contract

Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) is strictly enforced and must be completed by the facility's deadline — start dates will not be adjusted for non-compliance
