We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

The ideal candidate will provide holistic care to patients with mental health conditions, offering support and treatment in a compassionate manner.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations, taking into account the impact of trauma and social determinants of health.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based interventions and holistic modalities, such as mindfulness, expressive arts therapy, and complementary medicine.
- Prescribe and manage medication regimens, while also incorporating non-pharmacological approaches to support healing and symptom management.
- Foster a therapeutic environment that is sensitive to the needs and experiences of diverse patient populations, including those from marginalized communities and underrepresented groups.
- Provide trauma-informed psychoeducation and support to patients and their families, empowering them to actively participate in their own healing journey.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and community partners to ensure coordinated and culturally responsive care.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with specialization in psychiatric-mental health.
- Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- New graduates are wellcomed
- Demonstrated commitment to trauma-informed care and diversity.
- Strong understanding of trauma theory, the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and strategies for promoting resilience and recovery.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Cultural humility and a willingness to engage in ongoing learning and self-reflection to enhance cultural competence.
Contract Payment:
- Competitive fee-for-service reimbursement rates commensurate with experience and productivity.
