KMC is seeking a 2nd Shift Packager
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare orders for freight, express or parcel post shipments in accordance with shipping requirements

Check quantity, type, size, part numbers, etc. to properly identify materials
-
Maintain records and prepare shipping documents
-
Verify quantity & quality of material
-
Wrapping and banding of pallets
-
Computer data entry
-
Responsible for strict adherence to all company/departmental policies and procedures related to safety and conduct rules and other regulations
-
Maintains a safe & clean work environment & departmental housekeeping standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly motivated self starter

Good math skills

Basic reading & writing skills
-
Strong attention to detail

Regular attendance is required; punctual, dependable

Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form

Strong customer focus & friendly attitude

Ability to function well in a team environment

Ability to work overtime when required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Exposure to noise

Temperature variances, occasionally required to work outdoors, regardless of weather conditions

Exposed to fumes, airborne particles

Regularly works near moving mechanical

Frequently required to lift or move 11-20 lbs., occasionally lifting or moving 21-40 lbs.
