Focus Center for Autism is currently hiring a third shift position, Full time direct care staff for our Therapeutic Group Home located in Barkhamsted.
The Shannon House program is a DCF-funded home that houses 4 young men on the autism spectrum under direct, 24/7 care. The ideal candidates should have the following:

- A willingness to learn and thrive under Focus’ structure
- A compassionate attitude towards working with young adults on the spectrum

Direct-care staff are encouraged to bring their personalities out while working alongside our boys and help them feel empowered to be who they want to be in the best ways possible!
QUALIFICATIONS
· Associate’s degree or 60 college credits
· Clear written and oral communication skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Experience working with people on the autism spectrum and other related disabilities.
· Driver’s license with clean driving record
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
Pay: $20.00 per hour
