Sales Assistant – Valencia Suits & Tux

Duties
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding suit styles, fits, and fabrics to enhance their shopping experience.
- Styling & Sizing: Conduct styling consultations and assist with measurements or fittings to showcase how our formalwear can be tailored to the customer's needs.
- Transaction Management: Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales and cash handling.
- Store Maintenance: Assist with merchandising, steaming garments, and organizing inventory to maintain an attractive and pristine showroom layout.
- Sales Growth: Upsell and cross-sell by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable accessories (e.g., ties, pocket squares, shoes, cufflinks).
- Retail Operations: Manage retail math tasks such as calculating totals, alteration fees, discounts, and inventory counts with precision.
- Communication: Maintain excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries, booking fitting appointments, or coordinating rental returns.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous retail sales experience preferred (apparel or formalwear background is a huge plus!), with familiarity in retail math and cash handling.
- Language Skills: Strong communication skills, bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers effectively.
- Technical Skills: Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills necessary for daily transactions.
- Physical Tasks: Ability to perform merchandising, garment handling, and inventory management tasks efficiently.
- Professionalism: Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor suited for a premium menswear environment.
- Sales Acumen: Knowledge of phone etiquette and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
