Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive in-person customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, process cash transactions, and handle payments efficiently
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables, cleaning surfaces, and adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures
- Support food safety management by following proper hygiene practices and ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Handle weight-based tasks such as portioning ingredients or beverages with precision and care
- Operate kitchen equipment safely when assisting with food prep or service areas
- Contribute to a safe environment by following manual handling protocols and practicing proper lifting techniques during setup or cleanup
- Support catering or banquet events by setting up tables, serving guests, and ensuring smooth event flow
Experience
- Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or catering settings
- Demonstrated food industry knowledge including food safety standards and sanitizing procedures
- Experience with serving in-person customers in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately
- Barista experience or knowledge of wine and beverage service is a plus
- Culinary experience or background supporting food preparation activities is advantageous
- Previous banquet or catering experience enhances your ability to adapt to diverse service needs
- Strong communication skills combined with a friendly demeanor to create welcoming guest interactions
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace safely and efficiently
