Responsibilities
- Assist optometrists during exams by preparing equipment and ensuring patient comfort
- Collect patient medical history
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold HIPAA compliance
- Support retail sales by educating patients on frames, lenses, and eyewear options
- Manage optical inventory
- Handle front desk duties and patient flow
- Deliver a warm, professional, memorable patient experience
Key Attributes
- Excellent interpersonal communication
- Strong sense of fashion and current eyewear trends
- Ability to make frame styling fun and inspiring
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and reliable with follow‑up
Education & Experience
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- Certified Optician preferred, or minimum 1 year of optical experience
- Willing to train the right candidate
- Looking to onboard in the next 1-2 weeks
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
