Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation procedures
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns proactively
- Clear tables, reset for new guests, and uphold cleanliness standards following food safety management protocols
- Handle customer inquiries courteously, providing detailed information about menu items and specials
- Assist in maintaining the restaurant’s sanitation procedures, including proper handling of food safety practices
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures, food safety, and food safety management practices
- Ability to operate POS systems accurately and efficiently during busy service hours
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude that energizes the team and delights guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting
