Our company is seeking a Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our team. While we prefer applicants with some cleaning experience, we will provide training. This position mainly involves physical tasks, but you must also issue receipts for completed work and provide customer service as necessary. In this role, you will inspect fabrics for signs of wear, perform deep cleaning services, and apply deodorizers. You may also need to move furniture in order to clean carpets or upholstery. We also clean tile, and do water extractions.
This is a part time position, cleaning mainly carpet in a commercial setting in the evenings.
The position is about 2 hours per location and there are about 18 jobs per month needing done.
Carpet Cleaning Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect carpet and upholstery for stains and other signs of wear
- Apply deodorizers and Sealants
- Move or cover furniture as needed
- Clean carpets and fabrics using high temp machines
- tile and grout cleaning
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- provide excellent customer service
- Respond to emergency calls
- assist as needed with other tasks
Carpet Cleaning Technician Requirements and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED preferred (not required)
- Carpet cleaning experience a plus
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical stamina
- Attention to detail
- Mechanical Aptitude
- ability to be on call for emergencies

Pay: $30,000.00 - $32,000.00 per year
