American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in California, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ER experience.

Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting

Day and evening shifts available, both 3x12-hour schedules (12:00–00:30 and 15:00–03:30)

Weekend rotation required
-
No on-call requirements

13-week contract

Active CA RN license required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum 2 years of ER experience required

2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Provides direct patient care using the full nursing process — assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation — addressing physical, psychosocial, safety, rehabilitative, and learning needs

Manages care of assigned patients and directs the activities of ancillary staff

Collaborates with nursing peers, attending physicians, and allied support services

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year to be eligible to return as a traveler
