My Town’s Café in East Islip is hiring experienced baristas to join our team.
We’re looking for friendly, dependable candidates who already have professional café/barista experience and can work confidently in a busy environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso drinks, matcha, teas, and specialty beverages
- Steam milk and maintain drink quality
- Provide warm, efficient customer service
- Operate the POS and assist with food/pastry service
- Keep the café, bar, and work areas clean and organized
- Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing tasks
- Restock and stay productive during downtime
Requirements
- 1+ year of professional barista/café experience preferred
- Experience using a commercial espresso machine
- Strong milk-steaming skills
- Latte art skills are a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working busy rushes
- Weekend availability required
Compensation
Starting at $18/hour + tips, depending on experience.
